Why Do You want to Become a Foster for a Dog?

This Rescue Organization is a nonprofit organization working to ensure the continued welfare of all small breed abandoned and homeless dogs by rehabilitating and placing them from various situations, including rescues from shelters. All of the information I have provided in the questionnaire is true and complete to the best of my knowledge. Should a dog be placed with me it will reside in my home as a pet. I agree to provide the dog with adequate food, water, shelter, affection and medical care. Ponderosa Pomeranian Rescue makes no representation as to the physical condition, temperament, habits, personality features or other aspects of the dogs in our program. Ponderosa Pomeranian Rescue is in no way liable or responsible for any damage, accident, or injury resulting from the placement of a dog into my household or the future conduct of the dog.

Thank you for offering to help! We ask that you read the following about some of the duties of a voluteer foster. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Please fill out this short form and someone from Ponderosa Pomeranian Rescue will contact you within a day or two. The Foster Coordinator will collect additional information about your home environment and current pets in order to make the best match of a foster dog. Foster parents are asked to provide food (unless the dog is on a special diet) and love and the group pays for all other expenses related to the dog. Foster parents are asked to bring their foster dogs to medical appointments and adoption days (usually about every two weeks). If the foster is unable to make the appointment or event, the foster coordinator should be contacted to make transportation arrangements. All foster dogs are property of Ponderosa Pomeranian Rescue until an adoption contract is finalized. Fostering a dog does not guarantee approval of adoption of the dog.
